Welcome to Cl\u00ednica Nido, a veterinary centre dedicated exclusively to the care and attention of birds, reptiles and small mammals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cl\u00ednica Nido was born from the illusion of a veterinary team to care for and offer a quality and specialised service for those exotic pets. We are dedicated, by vocation and love, to cover all the needs of rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, parrots, pigeons, canaries, iguanas, snakes, chameleons as well as all those new pets that may enter your home. We also love dogs and cats, but we want your companions to feel safe and calm in our facilities. Our aim is to minimise their stress during their stay with us as well as being able to dedicate ourselves to meeting all their needs.<\/p>\n

      Graduate in Veterinary Medicine from the Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona in 2004 (UAB) and associate lecturer in the Department of Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the UCH-CEU.<\/p>\n

      She has specialised in exotic animal medicine and surgery for more than 10 years. She has worked in centres dedicated to the clinical care of new pets in Barcelona (Cl\u00ednica veterinaria Ex\u00f2tics and Vetex) and Valencia. He has carried out national and international internships (Anton Vets Hospital, Andover (UK), Avian & Exotic Animal Clinic, Indianapolis (USA), \u00c9cole Nationale V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire d’Alfort (France).<\/p>\n

      Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Universidad Cardenal Herrera-CEU in 2005, he has worked since 2006 as a Veterinarian specialising in Exotic Animal Medicine and Surgery<\/strong> in different private clinics and various wildlife recovery centres, zoos and private collections of exotic animals.<\/p>\n

      Since May 2012, Surgeon (Visitor Surgeon RCVS) of exotic species in zoos and private collections in Europe.<\/p>\n

      Since 2007 he has been interested and specialised in reptile medicine and surgery, raptor traumatology and soft tissue surgery of ferrets, rabbits and rodents.<\/p>\n

      Since 2008 he has gained extensive experience in handling and clinical management of big cats, marsupials and non-human primates, working in various zoos and national private collections.<\/p>\n

During his time as a student he founded and chaired the exotic and wild medicine student club at his university and carried out practical stays at leading centres in exotic animal medicine such as the Menescalia veterinary centre and Ex\u00f2tics veterinaria (Barcelona).<\/p>\n

      He completed her higher degree in Forestry and Natural Environment Management in 2017, with an internship at the Centro de Recuperacion de Fauna del Saler, Valencia.<\/p>\n

      He has three years of experience as a zoo keeper at Bioparc (Valencia) in the areas of large herbivores\/large and medium carnivores, where he carried out functional training for veterinary treatments and care of these animals. He also worked as an aquarist at Bioparc Valencia, specialising in the care and handling of fish, amphibians and reptiles.<\/p>\n

      Graduated from the Catholic University of Valencia in 2023. Throughout her university years she has done internships in reference clinics and hospitals such as Anicura Valencia Sur or Anicura Constituci\u00f3n. He also completed his training in the ruminant clinic with stays in different cooperatives. Passionate about pathological anatomy and oncology. <\/p>\n

      \nHe completed the degree of Veterinary Technical Assistant at I-VET in 2021 doing internships in different veterinary clinics and at the Veterinari Torrent Hospital.HE also worked in a\u00a0clinic<\/span>\u00a0with dogs, cats and exotics where he specialized in laboratory, ICU and hospitalization. He furthered his training during this period in ethology and nutrition.<\/p>\n

      He finally decided to focus her professional career on the world of exotic animals working at Cl\u00ednica<\/span>\u00a0Nido<\/span> since his greatest passion is reptiles and birds.       Laura Plaza<\/h3><\/div>
      <\/div>[vc_column_text]Laura graduated in veterinary medicine from the Alfonso X El Sabio University in Madrid. During her studies, she completed internships in recovery centers, rescue centers, and zoos. She participated in research projects with great primates at the Madrid Zoo Aquarium. After university, she completed several courses with primates in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.<\/p>\n

      She complemented her training by completing the UCM’s own degree “Specialist in Exotic and Wild Animals: Management, Clinical Practice, and Captive Breeding,” during which she completed internships in zoos, wildlife recovery centers, and veterinary clinics specializing in exotic animals.<\/p>\n

      After almost three years working at a leading veterinary center in Madrid, she has joined our team.       <\/div>[vc_column_text]Mapi<\/span>obtained her veterinary technical assistant qualification in 2018. She has four years of experience in dog, cat and exotic animal clinics. She has collaborated with the Especies Veterinaria Veterinary Hospital where she completed her studies as an operating room assistant and at the same time specialized in exotic animals. She shares her free time with a dog named Samba, a kitten named Coco and a cockatiel named Piki.<\/p>\n
