Preventive Medicine and Consultation

Preventive medicine is responsible for preserving and promoting the health of our exotic animals, preventing possible pathologies and facilitating early diagnosis and treatment of the disease before it affects our pets. For this reason, at Nido Clinic we offer a specialized consultation service for each of the species of animals that visit us, thus wanting to individualize each case and giving priority to the needs of each exotic pet. We guide owners and breeders on proper diet, maintenance, handling and care necessary for each animal or group of animals. We explain the vaccination guidelines, deworming and identification system (microchip) that best suits each case depending on the patient. We also offer a hygiene and prophylaxis program service for zoological centers. Periodic check-ups are one of the most important guidelines to follow in preventing diseases in these types of animals.
